Great marriage tool

I think this book is a great tool to strengthen a marriage & work on some issues married couples might face. For me it was submitting issues. We submit to our husband as an act of obedience to Christ, act of love & respect. Being a homeschool mom it is hard to put my husband’s needs above my kids. He gave very good tips to be the helper that my husband needs.

Biblical and Practical Wisdom for Marriage

Excellent teaching to both wives and husbands on how to apply Biblical truths to improve their marriage. The author dealt with the hot topic of "submission" in the best, most balanced, and helpful way I've ever seen. The book addressed the core issues that can plague marriages, and also the specific issues that can arise in Christian marriages. It dealt with difficult subjects with tact and grace, while not watering down the direct Biblical admonishes for husbands and wives. The message was challenging and encouraging in the best way possible. Highly recommended to married people of all ages & durations!

Such an excellent biblical marriage book

I love this workbook! Are you looking for something listen to on your next car ride with your spouse or family? This will create wonderful discussion from the beginning of your drive to the end. You can play it and push pause and discuss the different questions and answer them as a family or as a married couple. If you are looking for a biblical book on finances this is the one for you!

Biblical application on marriage was great.

I loved it was about Jesus and that I understood more about what a marriage should look like.

Excellent, Biblically Based Book on Marriage

In "Your Marriage God's Way," Scott lays out the biblical principles for marriage as is found in the Word of God. He gives scriptural support for the roles within marriage, relating these roles back to the scriptural pattern for marriage described as a "mystery" by the Apostle Paul; Marriage is a picture of Christ and His Church as described in Ephesians 5:32. I found the book convicting in many places, realizing that loving my wife as Christ loves the Church is an impossibly high standard whereby I will never reach it. And yet, through God's help, I can work toward that end. His instructions to wives were also very good, and I found myself nodding in agreement as he seemed to describe many of the things we have encountered in our marriage. I am planning to listen to this book again with my wife so that we can discuss it as we go along. I appreciate the absence of pop psychology that seems to plague many modern marriage books. I believe that this book would be great for any couple regardless of which stage of marriage they are in. I would imagine that if the book had been available at the beginning of our marriage it would have even been more helpful then. This year my wife and I celebrate 32 years of marriage. And even so, I found many nuggets of truth as I listened to the audio book. Thank you Pastor Scott for your helpful resource.

A thought provoking book on marriage.

As there are so very many books out there on marriage, I kept on thinking on how this one is different than many that you can read and study. There are many books on marriage, but I think this one may top them all.
Scott LaPierre has written an easy to understand, (this is the way God intends marriage to be) book on marriage. It lays out how a husband should love his wife, and how a woman is to respect her husband according to the Bible. Every marriage will be different, but God has set a standard on how a married couple should treat each other with honor and respect.
I would recommend this book to just married couples, and even those that have been married for many years. If you are looking for a book to help you have a biblical marriage, this is one to get. Very well written.

Scriptural Marriage Counsel

It is Scripturally sound marriage counsel that everyone who wants a Godly marriage needs to hear and be reminded of. I give it my hearty recommendation with one small exception. He goes off base on a little tangent trying to defend jewelry and makeup that has no value as far as marriage counsel.
Read this book and maintain a love for the truth, and God will lead you into a happier and more fulfilling marriage,
I am not saying that the important information in this book is exclusive to this book. However, Scott has a nice and interesting presentation of indispensable information.

Biblical Principles About Marriage

Excellent book on marriage- God's Way. Lots of Godly principles given, using the Bible as the perfect source. I enjoyed all the practical applications given to help obey God's clear commands in His Word. We are called, as Christians, to be a doer of the Word not just a hearer only. So many helpful tips to have the best marriage from God, the perfect designer!.
