About this listen

A terrifying prophecy. A royal abduction. The desperate search for a legendary blade.

The Seers are blind to prophecy, or so it seems until a nightmarish vision shocks everyone. A darkness comes. Should it claim the elves, it will advance until it consumes the southern wizardoms.

To stave off impending doom, misfit heroes embark on a quest for magical sword not seen in millennia.

The newborn princess of Pallanar is abducted, triggering a desperate search. Her wizard father will do anything to rescue her. Who is behind it and what will his efforts cost?

Toppled thrones send two wizardoms into chaos. The ambitious strive to claim power while new gods rise to replace the old. What can it all mean?

Legend of the Sky Sword continues the Fall of Wizardoms Epic, ever driving the tale of Eight Wizardoms toward a spectacular, stunning end.

Once again, Travis Baldree puts in a stellar performance, bringing this thrilling adventure to life for listeners worldwide.

Exceptional Epic Fantasy

The second book in the series is even better than the first one, and the first book was awesome. This second book has it all: great story, excellent world building, fantastic characters, several twists and turns, and amazing fight scenes. It really is an exceptional book. I recommend this series without hesitation and I can't wait to explore what the next book in the series has to offer. Travis Baldree's narration is outstanding adding an extra layer of enjoyment to a very entertaining tale. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Even better than book 1 and a great series so far!

Legend of the Sky Sword, Fall of Wizardoms book 2, picks up right where book 1 left off and is even better! Absolutely enjoyed watching the characters further develop, world building get more in depth, and the plot and storyline continue in expected and unexpected ways. Serious moments, hilarious moments, all of them believable and fun to watch unfold. Another great addition to Jefferey Kohanek’s portfolio. Audio Version: Another great narration by Travis Baldree. Can’t say more!

One of the best series EVER

Once again, Jeff doesn't disappoint. This is one of my all time favorite series ever. Jeff does a great job of creating new stories with characters that just draw you in instantly. There is plenty of snarky humor which is awesome as well as serious notes. Each story just gets better and better. In this one there is so much going on. First of all Collin & Prella have their baby girl Coriella. Soon after her birth she is stolen. The rest of the group is off on their own journeys. Some are after a magical sword & some are helping the seers. As the story reveals Coriella's fate the tale explodes with action. I can't say enough good things about this series. A must read if you love Fantasy. Especially Sword & Sorcery.

Fight for ascendancy

While Jace and Nareen struggle to make sense of what is happening in the world, Druids and Sorcerers move their pawns across the board to gain ascendancy in the world. Prophecies are fulfilled and heroes stand against those who would dominate or destroy mankind. The epic continues as Jeffrey Kohanek weaves together the lives and desires of characters both good and evil in a rising conflict to obtain the world.

Jeff Kohanek does not disappoint in this second installment of The Wizardoms series. As usual, Travis Baldree does an excellent job of narration.

Fantasy Adventure Continues +17 Read

*** Parents: Due to content level this series would probably be in the R range for movies. While the bad language was mild, there was pretty descriptive gore in the action scenes, lots of sexualized scenes and content throughout- naked bodies, descriptions of breasts and female forms, male "member" hardness, and being grabbed or groped, and lots of insinuations of pleasure but no true sex scenes in this book.

This is book two and picks up where book one left off. These books do not stand alone and need to be read in order. Warnings aside, yes this is geared towards the adult reader that likes an action packed, adventure with magicians, dwarves and other magical characters. Book two really delves a lot more into the characters we liked from the first book and adds a few more. There's lots of drama around the ascention of rulers, a very foreboding prophecy that will guide this adventure beyond book two. I really liked how the world building is taken farther out in new areas that they explore. Readers will be drawn into these books if they like epic fantasies-- this series does make me think of a fun mix of The Lord of the Rings and the tv show Reign.

Just as in the first book the narrator did a great job with all the voice differentiations and acting, although I did have to speed it up to 1.3 x speed because it just felt a little slow.
