Will and Isum refuse to recognize the border between Texas and Mexico and go into Mexico to capture four of the toughest and most murderous outlaws ever known in Texas. Marshal Fain testifies many times in the counterfeiting trial and attends the hanging of Winslow and his gang. During this action, Will's wife, Virginia, gives birth to twin boys, Jesse and Joshua, and Will gains new respect and love for her.

Good Book

The story grabs you and the. Narration keeps you going. I recommend this book for sure.

Really good

Clean and easy listening in this world of extremes. Would recommend to all ages of listeners.

TNT, counterfeit $, international abduction oh my

action packed under unique situations and not formulatic. just honest to goodness courage and intelligence.

Lack of descriptive words

The reader is very pleasant to listen to. He misprounces some words but, not to the point of distraction.
The author tells a 10 hour story in 5 hours and after getting through the Will Fain series I have no idea what he looks like, or any other character in the story. it is sorely lacking in adjectives. It is hard to immerse oneself into a story you cannot picture.

Great Story

So far all three books have been great. The narration is very good and the story lines are gripping. Love the main character Will Fain.

All the different types of adventures the two Marshall had encountered.

The refrain by the author of foul language in his writing. It was much appreciated .

WILL FAIN

These books on Will Fain is excellent westerns. I love the way Will handles anything that comes up. In this book he and his Deputy Isom goes after a gang of counterfeiters. Than three banks get robbed and Will and Isom goes after them. There is something happening all through this book. An excellent story line. A.T. Chandler does an excellent job narrating this book. Will Fain's personality has changed.

In this book, the ends justifies the means. Cussing, breaking the law, and torturing prisoners is acceptable. Not my cup of tea.
