An excellent start to a new series

Tracy Lorraine is queen of cliffhangers. I hate her, I love her. Her followers have been waiting, what seems like forever, for Stella's story. I read it first, now I've listened to it! I am NOT disappointed. This is one of my favorite series of Tracy's. It's been perfect to listen to right after listening to LEGEND!

I love how this is different from her other high school bully romances. She's got a couple different tropes going on with adding in the mafia. She listed the triggers. This is dark. It causes my heart to beat out of my chest. Even the second time around. At this point I hate Seb, but I'm cracking. The twist I didn't see coming! That cliffhanger! Cannot wait for the next book!

James Joseph and Stella Hunter are fantastic narrators. James has so many characters to voice and he does it well! I'm in awe. His voice is deep and hypnotic. Stella has a smooth voice that makes listening for long periods easy. These are some new favorite narrators. Perfection.

Loved this! Definitely recommend listening to the prequel before this. Enemies/hate to not as severe enemies/hate "lovers"? He's a bit stalkerish and she's a badass. Holy sh*t that cliffhanger! 🤯 never saw THAT coming.

Solid 4.5 stars! Spoilers ahead!!

The ONLY reason this was not a 5 was how badly Stella allowed Seb to walk all over her and treat her like dirt. Then say oh well, I AM a whore so it’s okay…I’m no. She did not make him grovel AT ALL for his treatment of her and it really turned me off. That was my only gripe. Now, onto the good stuff:
This story grabbed me right from the get go (I started with the prequel and boy was it 🔥🔥!! My introduction to Seb & Stella was a fury smack in the face! I was so curious to see where in the heck it would lead and once some questions were answered, new ones popped up to take their place. The twists and turns kept me going and I couldn’t put this down. A must read and yes, it ended with a cliff hanger but thankfully this trilogy portion of this series is done and I can immediately find out what the heck happened to Stella at the end there!
The narrators took a moment to get used to as I’m American but once I did? Omg I LOVED them! They really made the book. Both Stella Hunter and James Joseph will be narrators I look forward to hearing!

So Good!

Ever since listening to the prequel Wicked Summer Knight (which should be read first as it is not included in this book, but there are quite a few references to those events) I have been dying to jump into the rest of the series! Because I was so engaged by the audiobook, I wanted to do the rest that way as well, so had to wait a bit longer before starting. And it was worth the wait. There is a bit of mystery going on, because we (as well as Stella) have no idea what is going on with these kids and their families. That, as well as the budding romance and growing friendships, are keeping me interested in seeing where this all goes. I am a huge fan of a J/P Hero, and we definitely have that with Seb. It is equally as fun to see him struggling between wanting her and hating her. This series started could easily have been 5 stars for me, but I read a very similar trilogy within the last month, and it is giving me vibes like I've already read this before. The stories are not necessarily the same, but little bits here and there certainly remind me of the other books, which is taking me out of fully enjoying this one.

Narrators are actual perfection.

Loved the story and the voice acting was the best I've found on audible yet - both male and female. Eager to start the next book.

Worth the credit! A GREAT listen

I had this series in my wish list forever and finally took a chance on it and I’m so glad! I have listened to the entire series in just a few days! So glad I took a chance!

Jaw literally dropped

Ok so the ending literally made my jaw drop. Tracy has written such an amazing start to this dark bully romance. There is intrigue, twists, SPICE, angst, amusing moments between the characters. It’s just the whole package. The Mafia elements and the introduction to the different characters that you know will star in their own segments has been really great as well. James and Stella narrating is pure perfection! They both modulate their voices to depict the many different characters they have to voice and it’s just amazing to listen to the many different ways they go about it. I am starting book 2 ASAP!

Omg! Hottttttt!!! And huge cliffhanger

My God this book is so good! This is my first book with this author but I am a super fan now! On to book 2 because this one ended with a huge cliffhanger! Jaw dropping!

Love It!

Just a heads up there is a small prequel where these two characters meet for the first time the ebook is free as of now and this does end in a cliffhanger. This is Stella (who if you read Rosewood High Series you get a glimpse of her) and Sebatian's story. All I can say is wow I believe this is the darkest twisted book from Tracy I have read and it left me wanting the next book. The chemistry between these two is hot, dark, twisted, full of hate and kinky. Stella learns more about what her father really does, Sebastian is out to destroy Stella seeking revenge against her dad but has become obsessed and addicted, their is a mafia war about to start, truths are revealed, I believe there is a crazy stalker wondering about, jealous characters. I love that Stella is one bada$$ character who will not back down and will fight back.


There are two new narrators that Tracy used to narrator this book and they did an excellent job giving these characters a voice and made the story more entertaining than when I read it.

Stella Oh Stella. This is my first experience by Tracy Lorraine and I must say, she is giving me everything I love. Suspense, a strong heroine who takes no shit, a great trope, and the surprise factor in this story is everything! Edge of my seat, eyebrows to the ceiling type ish. And the narration is spot on. It’s rare I want to continue a series but after all .. I can’t seem but want one more chapter after chapter :)
