Loved these Ruby Dixen books of course!
My only complaint is that the *ahem* size *ahem* described in When She's Lonely isn't sexy. Like, I get that size difference between the male and female characters is a common kink in her books, but the scene this time just sounded really painful. ick. Couldn't help a lot of sympathetic winces throughout what otherwise would have been a good scene. Just, wow. Did not sound pleasant.

I LOVE that Leilani is a Hawai'ian native. I also love how talkative she is. Although her trauma wasn't as extreme as some other characters finding themselves navigating through the galaxies of Ruby Dixons worlds it was still trauma and more relatable to me.. loved it..

Love love love!

I loved these books when I read them an love it even more when it came to life the voice actors are my absolute favorite Ruby really picks the best!! I can’t wait for more I already preorder the other books coming out next month!!

Great stories

I enjoyed both stories from this world created by Ruby Dixon. I look forward to listening and reading more stories in this series.

Ruby Mother Loving Dixon

Listen, Ruby Dixon at this point could write a book about an alien boy watching paint dry and I would listen twice. She wins. She is the best. If it’s a Ruby Dixon story it’s gonna be at minimum a 8/10 story but truly she’s a 11/10 writer. The VAs did amazing as always and I will be reading everything she writes. Even better if it’s audio.

Short, Sweet, Talented Narration

When’s she lonely ended up being my favorite of the two. Khex is something of a frat Boy Scout eventually redeemed; affable, funny as heck, rather noble, and in the end just straight up hot. Tassar is besotted with Leilani from day one and pries a bit of fun out of her after some patient coaxing. I quite enjoyed both these narrators as well; Lloyd is clearly a pro and just so engaging to listen to, and while Macie may not have the polish that Lloyd does, she has a voice that gives the FMCs a youthful, endearing quality that makes them easier to like.

Both are both in the Risdaverse universe that Ruby Dixon has created, but they are not in order. When She’s Ready is the first novella in the series and When She’s Lonely is more like the eight book in the series. Although these books don’t need to be read in order to enjoy them. I love that Ruby has her heroines be from different races. Both books are great and full of sexy times. Narrators are both really good.
