Fantastic story. Loved the story a must but which that the girl narrator was more enthusiastic! Loved Teddy though he has been one of my favorites.

Pleasantly surprised

I have to say, this book was the best in the series for me. Cleo was not only strong, but she was smart as well as beautiful. I wish I could get my credit back for book 2 Because the audio actor did not match with the background for me. This had the right amount of action and spice. The audio was superb.

Best of the series!!

When she unravels had been my favorite book of Gabrielle Sands till this one came across. I usually wait till the audio but I couldn’t with this one. I read it first and then second the audio came out, I used my credit faster than it could download lol.and as with all audio experiences, the narrators being the story to life.

Cleo like her sisters has lived a very cold and trauma-filled life. She’s become accustomed to being denigrated and not aiming for much. In comes Rafaele, who has his own set of trauma, but is able to awaken Cleo’s true personality while helping her heal her self esteem. A beautiful arranged marriage mafia with a good balance of suspense, emotion and interesting spice.

The narrators hit it out of the park for me. Teddy Hamilton is a fav and I know I will never be disappointed when he’s narrating a book. Michelle Sparks is a new narrator to me but she gave so much life to Cleo’s strong personality and her sense of humor. Definitely worth the listen.

I love all 4 books! I hope we get a book on Vince and or Nero. Great writing and narration. I don’t know why this author doesn’t have more books on audible!!

As good as book 1…

I really enjoyed this fourth book in the series. It was as good as the first book, and the narration was actually a little better.

best of the series

Loved the emotional development of these 2 characters. Their damage, struggle and ultimate reconciliation felt real and meaningful.

Narrators

The Narrators were awesome with their reading and dialogue and skills of changing their tones with each character. The story itself kept my attention the entire time.

This has to be my favorite of the series, something about Cleo and her spunk that I love reading. Glimpses of her from the past books just gave us a taste of what was to come and it was great! Arranged marriage trope is one of my favorite ones and this did not disappoint; this is also an age gap trope - although not too much- it feels like more because she is the wild child and he is the serious head of the family. From early on Rafaele was intrigued by her so when it becomes an issue with the sister he was supposed to marry (from book 3 when she falls - and if you haven't read it, stop and read that the first three then come back) he accepts the new proposal to wed Cleo instead.
I read the ebook first then listened to the audiobook both are really good. This is definitely a book I can read over again.
