Entertaining story!

This is a perfectly entertaining book for an afternoon. Honestly, it's great if you're not into deeper LitRPG or just want something light to read. However, it does end kind of suddenly in my opinion. I will say, I wanted more of the story, a true conclusion.

The title of the book

I loved that this was a quick read & listen. I loved how the main character Tilda was mindful- and how they used enhancements to the audiobook with different voices for the characters.

Fun and captivating!

This was a super fun, cozy read! The characters were wonderful, and the story was captivating but cozy. A wonderful listen, with amazing narration from the talented narrators with Sound Booth Theater!

In real life the stakes are always death

4.5 stars! Tilda is a retired adventurer, working as a bar maid in a quant town, and hoping her past never comes to find her. After 10 years, her past has found her by happenstance and given her an ultimatum... she returns the artifact she has in return for someone she cares deeply for. Tilda is strongarmed into taking some wanna-be teenaged adventures with her on her quest. They antics of these teenagers are exactly how you would expect teenagers to behave, even in the face of danger and possible death. It is a lot at times, and Tilda has to decide if she will continue. Now is Tilda's chance. Will she adventure up or run away again? This was a charming story, and it reads very much like a D&D story, I do look forward to further Tilda and company adventures.

Bratty teens go on quest, fight amongst each other, get caught by bad guy, then book ends. No conclusion to story, no resolution, book just ends. I only finished it because I paid for it.
