Fantastic story - a must listen!

We couldn’t “put this book down” once we started it! A gripping story with wonderfully developed characters with a twist we didn’t expect at the end. I can’t wait to read more books featuring Cameron Winters!!

Excellent Mystery

I definitely enjoyed the book and the story line was great! I also like that there are still questions left unanswered... perfect set up for a series! 5 Stars for sure!

Poor narrator performance

I really enjoyed the story and the mystery, but the narrator really decreased the enjoyability of the experience.

Best book I've listened to this year.

I finished this book in three days. It was hard not to. The tight, thought provoking writing supports a beautiful story. I enjoyed listening to a book that had well defined themes that evoke emotion. Also, the narration was top notch.

Can’t wait for more

I didn’t anticipate the great ending. Will listen to it again, while waiting for the next in the series, which hopefully is coming soon..

I admit I was hesitant to purchase even with the awesome reviews. I can only say that I’m so glad I did and you will be too! I was immediately drawn into this intriguing story. The author’s descriptive prose was just enough and the characters well-defined. The story has everything: action, mystery, unrequited love, true love, all within a Christmas setting (but not like a cheesy Christmas movie). Thank you Mr. Klavan and Mr. Barr for a truly inspired story and performance!

Looking for a good book? Look no further. Has all the ingredients of a murder mystery with interesting characters, suspense and surprise. Very good audible.
