Don't skip weight training!
I never realize how important weight training was until recently. I used to mainly do cardio but cardio can only get you so far into overall fitness. Weight training is not only important for building muscle mass but it also contribute to other health benefits. This book helps make me realize that for me to achieve my fitness goal, building muscle is more important than the number I see on scale and upper body strength is important for women as well! The audiobook provides several exercises you can do at home and also covers some very useful information on what you should do pre and post workout.

Already applying some of the strategies in this bo
I’m so thankful for this book! Sometimes I feel like I’m swimming in so much information about lifting weights and getting toned, but this book clearly lays out simple strategies and ideas. I’m already putting some of these ideas into place and seeing more tone. I really loved chapter 5 about getting toned without bulking up. That's the last thing I want. I feel like I'm ready to take on the year ahead with this book in my back pocket!

Learn some of the “hidden” benefits of lifting
My girlfriend got this one on my account, and we ended up listening to it together. It’s a nice, short audiobook about all the benefits of weight training for women. I think it does a really good job of selling the more “hidden” benefits of such training — more self-confidence, a reduction in embarrassment at the gym, better energy levels and overall performance, etc.
The author and narrator are clearly passionate about the subject and that makes for an enjoyable listen. The book also describes a few workout plans and shows women how to lift properly so they don’t feel ashamed when they train around others. Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed it, and we recommend it.

So interesting
What are you wieghting for By Author Scott Powers is one of the amazing audiobooks I have ever come across . This book is actually a positive guide that help listeners on how to do some exercises and gives valuable informations in details on how to live a happier and healthy lifestyle through exercises. After reading everything, I would say that, this book is very easy to follow, understand. The work of this author I would say, is great because he has done a nice job by taking his time to explain to listeners on how to set weight loss goals in a way that it will keep you motivated.
This book is one in a million.. Highly recommended.

Real practical advice and in depth guide.
The most important aspect to this book is the step by step practical advice to losing weight. The next best part is that you get a surge of motivation straight to your dome to actually implemend the advice given. For that reason I listened to this book in one sitting. I am so happy that I gave it a chance because now I feel like my goals are obtainable. When I get lost or feel unmotivated I will pick up this audiobook and listen again. In addition, the author is very talented and the narration is on point.

Weight (and bodyweight) training has so many benefits (physical, mental and emotional). Great Read!
This is a great book by Scott Powers. It is very easy to understand, awesome concepts, and easy to find muscles and target them through weight training. I think everyone should have this book. Health and fitness have always been important to me. This book was motivating and straight forward and great for anyone wanting to look for help with a healthier lifestyle and especially anyone who is looking for an intro to weight training.

Super straightforward tips to enhance confident
I didn't get any results at the gym after a year, so I know it is not enough to be consistent at the gym and follow what people say to you in the gym and on other social media accounts. I like that the writer has 10 years of experience in the field, and the narrator is easy to follow. Also, he told us which muscles should be targeted to enhance your weight training experience. Highly recommend listening to this audiobook.

This book is solid GOLD! Seriously, it's like having a personal trainer guide you through each step (but for waaaay cheaper).
Sometimes, you just need someone to tell you that you can do it. This book definitely tells you that YOU CAN! And I did. :)
Not only that, it also guides you through some exercises and has quite a bit to say about motivation and consistency.
100% worth it. Pick up this book and listen to it. It will help you get where you want to be.
