Curiosity got this cat but it's not really worth purchasing ... Has no real relevance to the Jane Yellowrock story.

This story gives some interesting background from the beast’s perspective, adds another layer of insight into the character of Jane.

I enjoyed the performance but did not like the story that nuch. as a standalone piece it just didn't work for me.

Would you consider the audio edition of WeSa and the Lumber King to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version of this book.

What other book might you compare WeSa and the Lumber King to and why?

This is a very short story and not even a novellas. It compares with a chapter from Ann McCaffrey' Pettabee series. You see things from the animal/human point of view.

Which scene was your favorite?

When they were leaving after killing the lumber king and they look back to see the humans have set fire to the woods.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Jane told Beast she could not eat the man and Beast listened to her.

Any additional comments?

Good to listen to to something of the flavor of their relationship.

WeSa's Backstory provides an interesting background to a main character in Jane YellowRock's colorful character.

I think a bunch of people either came her to intentionally trash an indigenous series or had absolutely no idea what they were listening too.
Typical solid performance by Hvam and typical storyline for Jane in her WeSa days. Nice little vignette for a 10 minute listen break.

Lotta snowflakes complaining

This was told from the POV of the beast. Very interesting portrayal of the thought and pathways of the mind. This is one of my favorite series and I look forward to getting completely caught up with every bit of it.

When you go back and read this series in order, you get a good foundation for the interaction between WeSa (Jane) and the "other."
