Decent introduction to the Salamanders
A great audio drama that is far too short and is being sold as an audio book for some reason. The voice performance, and atmospheric sound effects, are overall excellent, which makes me wish for a Salamander novel that isn’t purely part of a Horus Heresy arc.

This Should Be The Standard!!!
This was everything an audiobook in the 21st century should be!! Great story! Great sound effects! Great performers!
Real money could be made by continuing in this way & re-releasing previous audiobooks in this fashion!

small read for full price
this was the single most shortest audio clip I had had the displeasure to get for a full book price. please do yourself a favor and do not get this for 1 credit. There are a million books out there worth your time. I love salamander but this was quite a slap to the face.

It gives you a general idea of the salamanders chapter
It’s not bad but it’s short and could really use some context. The good part of this short is it really does generally touch on all the things that make the salamanders chapter so different to the others. The problem is that this feels like an opening to a longer book not a short story.
