Trials of Azrael !!

All in all this is a fantastic collection. the first short story drew me in to the Dark Angels as a faction but by far to me the standout is the Trials of Azrael. It encompasses everything i love about a 40k story without overstaying its welcome or dragging on. 10/10 will be recommending to my friends.

Malediction and vindication

The final short story, Malediction, might just be the prefect grim dark loyalist tale. Performances were adequate across all, nothing spectacular but one stood out as exceptionally bad in the Malediction telling.

The constant plot twists.

I like how all the stories had a great twist at the end and never got dull. Most definitely had good action as well.

Very interesting for Dark Angels fans.

Despite the first two stories being a little underwhelming, The others more than make up for it in VA talent, and story writing.

Dark Angels and their willingness to leave no witnesses oh boy oh boy oh boy

Great story and reveals secrets on Azrael.

Phenomenal story on Kharn and Azrael, gives you a good idea why you should fear both.

Pretty good overall

Most of the short stories here were pretty good, though not exceptional. It’s useful to have read Pandorax by CZ Dunn first, as a couple of his stories build off of it. Thorpe also builds off of his trilogy here but it isn’t as important to the stories here. Would mainly recommend if you’re a dark angels fan

A nice sampler of characters

Everything was told very well, and all the characters felt very real, the last story was the most interesting.

Good lore

Good Dark angels Lore! But some segments it sounds like someone is getting a filling, a faint whir of a dental drill in the background of the dictation.

Enjoyed the heck out of it!

Each story left me wanting more! The overall production of this collection is great, much more than I had expected.
