Lo que los oyentes dicen sobre Nightbringer

Con calificación alta para:

The Audiobook's Story Revolves Around The Ultramarines Space Marines, Particularly The Character Of Uriel Ventris, And Their Encounters With The Eldar And Other Xenos Races. While Many Found The Overall Narrative Engaging, With Compelling Characters And Immersive World-building, Some Felt The Plot Had Predictable Twists, Inconsistent Pacing, And Shallow Moments. There Were Also Criticisms About Lore Inaccuracies And A Weak Ending. However, The Themes Of Battles, Corruption, And The Inquisition's Involvement Added Depth To The Story.

Awesome!!!!

Enjoyed it the whole way through. A mix of terror, and Adrenaline mix with Good narration and story. Haven’t read a Warhammer 40k book like this in some time. DWW

Volume between whisper and yelling range is too much

Great story. But volume difference between normal speech and yelling is too extreme. Sometimes within same sentence.

Excellent narration with good story!

The narrator is new to me, but has impressed me immensely with his voice skills.
The story is exciting at moments, but I found all the "twists, turns, and surprises" to be highly predictable. As far as the Ultramarines, they do what Ultramarines do as always. I found the Arbites to be more human and less "Ultra Chad" than the Astartes. Overall, worth the listen, especially if you like Loyalist Astartes.

New to 40k. Glory to the emperor!

Was recommended this as a good spot start into the 40k universe. It is vivid in a way that I can actually picture it, and kept me awake for most of the drive from Texas to Kansas. Definitely sparks my imagination.

Graham & Bruce for Milennia

Well, it is violent. I guess any Warhammer fan can expect that. Graham McNeill's prose for the Black Library is probably required to include a minimum amount of gore and Nightbringer meets that requirement. If you have a stomach for it, this is a great first read for the series as the Ultramarines swoop in for a crisis. Good luck trying to put this one down.

great

Better than I expected. Great performance and great writing. A bit numbing on the nonstop action but wepl done.

Enjoyable but a lot didn’t make sense or was weird.

I enjoyed the story on the whole and I thought the inquisitor was a great character. I enjoyed the Arbites characters and could have used a lot more of the political intrigue.
That said, there were a lot of things that kind of pulled me out of the story and didn’t make much sense to me. The flashback of Uriel as a teen didn’t really add anything to understanding him and didn’t seem to play back into the story unless I missed it completely. The dark elves attack the Catan/Necron ship but then seek to release the Catan??? The Dark Elves know how hard it is to fight these and there is no plan to enslave it to make it their tool. Likewise there’s no indication that the Catan had tricked or corrupted anyone to trick them into releasing it. It’s not clear at all why the human is working with the DElder or why he’s murdering people or whatever the hell the whole egg thing was???
Here again, I did enjoy the story and worth a read but seems to have some holes.
