promising read

This collection caught my attention because it was a full set of a mafia series. This is a decent collection that showed a lot of promise.

I however was not a fan of the narration.

Vows of a Mobster!

This contains the three stories ("Deadly Vows", "Vicious Vows" and "Vows of Deception") in the "Vows of a Mobster" series. They are part of a trilogy and are fairly short and quick reads or listens. Overall, they are interesting and intriguing stories. The narration was pretty good. I enjoyed them and liked the characters.

Mobsters

This is a trilogy. Overall, the stories are interesting. I had issues with the narration, and found it took away from the enjoyment of the audiobook. The story is given in 2 POVs, however there is no change in voice or pitch. The reading was pretty flat, with several errors, where he needed to restart the sentence. I tried to focus on the story. The story itself is interesting and entertaining. I may reread this , as a written story rather than as the audiobook. Book is a 4*, narration is 3*. I received a free copy of the audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.
