The blood witch has changed everything.

Not my fav
In the past, I swear I really liked Jocelyn Drake books. I'm not sure if it's because my taste has grown/matured or if this is sub-par writing compared to past books but I almost DNF'd this one.
First, we have a pet peeve of mine: insta-lust. Also, the side characters are one-dimensional, there's really no plot to speak of except what's in between the 2 MCs falling in love. Outside of that it's pretty much all internal monologuing about how it's "too soon" for the MMCs to be in love and 3/4ths of the way through I really don't care what happens.
Bottom line: if you prefer real character development with well-placed romance and sexy times when it's called for in between a real plot and well-developed side characters, skip this one!
