My favorite!

I knew once I listened to the prequel that Jacob’s story would be my absolute favorite…and this book did not disappoint! Teddy Hamiltonian really does an amazing job of bringing these guys’ characters to life! The twists, the turns, the spice, the humor…there was not one thing I didn’t love about this book, especially how present the other characters from the previous books were. Can’t wait for Knox’s story!

Where's Book 5?!

This series!!! I'm obsessed. Jacob and Melody's story is just as thrilling as the previous books in the series. The twists and turns?! I was very surprised. I wish I could read this one again for the first time. I love that S. Massery put this series on Audible AND she chose good narrators.

Seriously love this couple!

I read this book a while ago and when the audiobook went on sale I jumped at it. I absolutely love this dark and HAF sports romance. Second chance at love and exploring all your fantasies over again (because you have amnesia). Sign me up! Age-Gap / Stalker / and lots of darker themes. So please be mindful of triggers.

S. Massery has one of the best dark sports romance series I have read/listened too. Dark obsessive Hockey Players that obviously have a good reason for being so possessive, obsessive and protective with their love interests all of which are friends. With each book they just get better and better.
Jacob Rhodes is as obsessive as the others in the series but with each book they all have different slightly different kinks. Melody is the older woman that Jacob was in love with and she disappeared, She has resurfaced but has amnesia and doesn't remember him, He will make her need him and only him but will also help her unlock her memories. He makes it where she depends on him to help fill in the blanks of her past once she realizes he knows her. There is also an ex-husband that is just as obsessed with her. As she starts to remember her past, she is also remembering her feelings for Jacob. She has some red flags but is also consumed by him.
There are plenty of triggers in this story that could give you pause and I will have to admit it took me a few tries before I actually just read this book, not because they trigger me but more because they are just weird AF to me and I needed to be in the right mindset to read this book, but once I did sheeesh, the two of them were combustible. There is something about hockey romance stories that I absolutely love and right now S. Massery is the reigning queen.

My favorite of the series!

Sports romance, obsessed male, and add in the amnesia and I am all in! There is something about a story where memory is involved and I am totally fascinated. When I started this and Melody was uncertain of her past, i couldn't wait to get listening! And S Massery doesn't disappoint. Age gap, teacher-student, hockey player, it's all there! Melody is a professor, abused by her father and her husband. Now she has awakened after a near fatal attempt on her life and she has no idea who she was. Jacob sees her in the audience at his hockey game, instantly aware she is there and tries to reconnect, but while there is chemistry, she has no idea who he is. Yes there is that pull, and that feeling of familiarity, but nothing more. He is now on a mission to find out what happened while he deals with his obsession of her. Now I love Jacob. He is a bit overly possessive, and their kinks prove just how well they get along, but there were times I just wasn't sure he wasn't guilty of the crimes against Melody. Melody is a strong woman, and trust isn't easy for her. As she delves into her past, it's amazing she is even wanting to know what happened! Suspense, betrayals, sensuality, obsessive passion, this book held me hostage and I loved every minute of it.

Teddy Hamilton is Jacob, and he plays him perfectly. That edge of danger and craziness, he is definitely in Jacob's head, but he also has a heart that is true and loyal. Kylie Stewart is Melody, a bit innocent with a side of riskiness, she gives her the edginess needed to make her realistic. I enjoyed these two together and loved their performance.

Just another masterpiece by S. Massery

I absolutely loved this story. I love how dark and twisty Jacob is. Melody shocked me. The spice hit all the right spots. As always Teddy did his thing with Jacob. Both narrators did a fantastic job

Twisted obsession

Hot 🥵 dirty dark romance with Teddy Hamilton as a narrator perfect.. he always does an amazing job. I love all the books in this series and can’t wait for the next book. I highly recommend this series if you love dark romance like myself

So many twist and turns

What is it with these boys and bathrooms and can we say plot twist?! The twist and turns gave me delicious anxiety. I just couldn't stop listening. I have loved every book so far. I love how the boys stay such good friends throughout the series. I enjoyed this book being a little different than the previous books. It has a different setting, they're not in college, and it's not the usual stocker. Just a psycho ex husband. Teddy Hamilton was perfect as usual. I didn't love Kylie's narrating at first but it grew on me. Go to S. Massey website for a bonus audio.
