A fresh take on fantasy

this was an amazing collection of books that I have thoroughly enjoyed. if you enjoy high fantasy and well orchestrated plot along with deep and coherent world building then I recommend you pick this up at once.

Awesome!

Great, morally ambiguous characters and cunning, yet relatable antagonists. Wonderful listen and a serious bang for your buck.

Sooo long... but nice world building

This was 67 hours of every detail imaginable while also leaving out some key points. The story definitely could have used a better editor. That being said, I liked it and I made it to the end. It wasn't a waste of time and kept enough suspense going. I can't say I'm 100% pleased with how everything worked out, but such is life.

The narrator gets top marks! He kept all the voices consistent in a Herculean task given the huge cast of characters.

Must listen

The narrator is totally incredible with his range of voices and passion in the role. The story line took a little to get used to but I enjoyed the book mainly due to Mikael Naramore. I will definitely search him out as a narrator.

Morin and Naramore do it again!

I've read most of his stuff and must admit that I was hesitant about this series. No more! I'm going to dig in to the next twin born series right away!

Epic

I wasn't sure at first. It's hard for me to come by books that suck me into new world's, especially magical ones; but this hit the nail on the head and I most certainly will be seeking more.

I didn't realize this was not the first in the series though. Time to backtrack!

Worth a credit

I enjoyed the books overall. Sure it’s hard to follow until you understand the twist but decent after that. The characters are flawed and display human characteristics. I would love to see a tv mini series of this saga. Really enjoyed it.

Some of these "so so" comments had me on the skeptical, but I've learned that a lot of the ney sayers are just book Karen's lol. This series is amazing! buy this one and then go buy the second. (UNLESS YOURE A BOOK KAREN)
