Acerca de esta escucha

In a book that's certain to make headlines, the only person to prosecute O.J. Simpson successfully for double homicide reveals the gripping, behind-the-scenes story of how he prepared for, and won, the civil trial, why the prosecution team in the criminal trial failed, and what actually happened that night in Brentwood.

I liked the story. The reading was a bit bland, however- the information was good.

Good story

This is the best book in the entire OJ saga. I couldn't put it down.

Cover to Cover!

Absolutely loved listening to this. If only the Prosecution in the criminal trial could have done half the job that Daniel did while questioning Ol Orenthal.

Guilty! Flawless job Daniel.

This is the true story of incredible tragedy and sorrow and the tireless work that it took to bring accountability for devastating loss at the hands of an enraged killer. Read witn honest emotion by the only one who could provide that - Daniel Petrocelli.

Well written, to the point, no filler. Worth a read if the OJ Simpson saga intrigues you.

Short, but great summary of evidence

Se ha producido un error. Vuelve a intentarlo dentro de unos minutos.

Petrocelli walks readers through the successful civil trial lawsuit that found OJ Simpson liable for double murder.
He learned from the prosecution’s mistakes in the criminal trial and uncovered new evidence, including a plausible motive. Best of all, Petrocelli gets the chance to cross-examine OJ on the stand and confront him to his face. Although the civil trial doesn’t make up for the botched criminal trial, it resulted in real consequences for Mr. Simpson.
This book also explains the evidence and timeline in a concise and understandable way. Highly enjoyable.

Conclusive New Evidence

Se ha producido un error. Vuelve a intentarlo dentro de unos minutos.

I really appreciated Petrocelli's lucid, succinct, sensitive approach to navigating the law in the wake of this terribly public, celebrity, racialized trial. He provides irrefutable, cogent evidence of holding the correct person accountable for the attacks and murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown. in this account, the reader learns Goldman was a completely blameless victim in Brown's troubles with her ex-husband--when they turned murderous. Simpson's actions also reflects typical behavior of domestically violent spouses, of escalating abuse and danger for the abused--especially when she or he leaves. This legal account pairs well with Christopher Darden's touching, transparent account of the criminal trial. I've not yet read or listened to other attorneys from the trial: for me these two suffice! Thank you.

Great unsensationalized proof of attacker's guilt

Very well written. Excellent narration. Just the facts and all the feels. Nearly perfect. Could have listened to another 4 hours of details. Great job, Mr. Petrocelli.
