Excellent! But bummer that it’s abridged

A fantastic memoir of the O.J. Simpson trial, beautifully written and read by Marcia Clark. I was sad to realize partway through the book that it was abridged. The print edition of the book is complete and has a great deal more material. Would love to hear Marcia read all of the text, not just the abridged version.

First rate review of a travesty of justice

I liked everything about Marcia Clark’s review of the Simpson trial. I felt she explained the details of exactly what happened with integrity and feeling for the family as well as for all interested in hearing the truth. This book was the best I’ve read on the proceedings and aftermath of the entire case. Worth reading aptly named “Without a Doubt”.

Bravo!!

I watched the trial and was appalled at the outcome!! I really believed OJ would be found guilty. I'm glad I came across this book, and have filled in gaps that formed during the coverage. I applaud Marcia and Chris for working as diligently as they did. Thank God, OJ is being held accountable now for his other crimes, karma has a way of working things out.

great book!

this is great...written by rhe one strong person who truly fought for justice...loved that It was read by Clark herself. I felt like she was talking to me about all the drama.

Marcia On Point!

Generally, I'm deterred and purposely refrain from an abridged novel as it neglects poignant details, however, Marcia hit the highlights and articulately delivers with unwavering passion.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I had no favorite character. Marcia wanted to put her best face forward and come across the hard working DA that was only after truth and justice for the victims families.

Which scene was your favorite?

The dumb decision to place Mark Furhman on the stand to only take the 5th.

Any additional comments?

Marcia Clark is a talented author and was great in representing the people as the prosecutor in the case against OJ Simpson. That said I take issue with Ms Clarks statements on the jury. She calls them mostly uneducated, angry Black women and blacks wanting to avenge the Rodney King verdict. When an prospective jurors show up for duty they should not be deemed unfit to serve based on color, ethnicity, gender, education or income level. However lawyers and prosecutors use the above mentioned facts to pick and eliminate jurors. Ms Clark talks out both sides of her face when she rails against this jury and states she wanted an Asian male chemist student as he would understand blood work up and Asians are more law and order type(stereotype)But then closes saying she wants a jury of doctors,business people,housewives and waitress. The American justice system is not balanced nor blind. OJ proved that green is the true color. If you have enough money you can get justice or away with murder.

A strong lady

If u grew up in the time of the OJ trial u know who Marsha Clark is and what she has done. Getting to enjoy her book let me feel like I was in a time machine and was peeking over her shoulder on what would be a huge misjustice to the fact that a killer walked free. Also going in to this we see the difference in how a female vs how a male lawyer was treated and respected. It.s a very eye opening experience. Having Marsha tell the story her self is fantastic because she takes u back to that Moment. What's very interesting is she never holds back and let's u hear her heart which is a fantastic

Great Read

It was nice to hear from Marcia & in her own words. The book was an easy read but the details were aplenty.

Great insight to the trial

Ms Clark did a great job on the writing and story from her perspective. She also includes he opinion of the other attorneys and judge. It did keep my interest and I have listened to the book a second time.
