Feel Good Holiday Romance

Landon was quiet, shy, and still dealing with trauma from his past, but he still had such a huge heart and so much to offer Casey. Casey and Landon had such strong chemistry first as friends, then as lovers. The development of their relationship was so sweet, tender, and swoon-worthy. If you're looking for a feel good romance for this holiday season that will have you laughing and leave you feeling like you've been wrapped in a warm hug, make sure to add Time To Shine to your TBR.

MM Sports Romance

Very well done bi awakening sports romance between two players on the same team. Casey is the charismatic poster boy for the team. He is always with people and has someone in his bed to keep him company. It seems to be when he wakes up that he finds himself lonely and wanting a roommate. Enter Landon- his new temporary teammate covering for the injured goalie. Landon needs a place to stay and Casey wants him to move in. Things start to happen in the cutest and best paced way. When it's time for Landon to go back, they have to ask themselves what's next?

Oh my god I love these characters so much!

They're both NHL players, professional hockey players, so they should follow the stereotype of being big brutes. But they are absolutely adorable! At least one of them is. This one has a boyish personality and pretty much says whatever comes into his mind. He constantly gives in to cravings for Christmas Cap'n Crunch, McFlurries and lemonade. He gets drunk a lot and keeps letting it slip that he's crushing on the team's new goalie. And he's a bit of a fashion queen. The goalie isn't really adorable. In fact he's a bit of a wuss. But he falls in love with his adorable teammate and that makes him adorable too. The story also takes place in an adorable universe where not only NHL players are cool with their teammates being gay but everyone is cool with NHL players being gay. Even when two dudes are making out on a Las Vegas dance floor. Because two dudes making out on a Las Vegas dance floor is absolutely adorable! At least the author made it seem that way.

Love a good queer romance story

Story and narration was superb. Love the holiday tie in as it’s the season at the moment.

read this book first and then listened to it and I think it is definitely worth getting the audiobook. It's such a lovely story. I feel hard for both Casey and Landon and was so sad when the story was over (even with a HEA!) that I immediately listened to it again.

Beautiful Story

Firstly, there isn't a story by Rachel Reid that I won't devour the moment it becomes available. This was beautifully written and the MC both relatable and likable. This is the perfect example that intimacy in romance comes in all forms.
Secondly, the narrator did a very good job giving the multitude of characters their own accent/tone.
Well worth the credit and I know I'll be listening to it again in the future.

Adored!

Cooper does such a great job. He’s so good at distinguishing between character voices. Landon was so stoic while Casey was more chaotic and fun and those traits came through in Cooper’s narration. I read the book when it was first released but just now got to listen to it. I don’t remember crying when I read it but I cried when listening. Cooper is so great at both happy and sad parts of the stories he does. Great story and great narration by Cooper.

Loved the Narration and Casey!

I really like the way this story was different from the others. Casey was a character unlike any of the others from the series, in my opinion. Excellent narration from Cooper North. He played all of the players and families voices so well. Looking forward to more in the series.

The best story with a wonderful narrator

I don’t think I’ve ever blushed more than I did with this book 😂 Landon was so adorably awkward and I feel like his inner monologue is so real for so many people and Casey was just too cute. The opposites attract were perfect in this!! The timeline was perfect, the book was perfect. I swear Rachel Reid kills it every time and I’m obsessed. I know this is only a one book story but I would’ve read any book with these men in it. So cute and heart warming. I definitely sad and happy cried multiple times 🫶🏻 the narrator brought it to a full five stars for me.

The sweetest slow burn

It’s difficult to express how much I love this book. It’s like the coziest warm hug of a story, and the characters are both angel sweethearts that you’re rooting for the entire time. The sex scenes are steamy and sweet and holy cow, Cooper North is just perfection narrating.
