Tor Thom's narration is amazing. Subtle but clear voice changes. That voice... wow! I would be the puck between these two players.

Bad voice for Kip, but Fantastic story

After hearing such great things about this series, I purchased this audiobook...twice, but the first time I returned it because Kip’s voice is so bad. I’m not even sure what accent it is, but it doesn’t sound like Brooklyn. Anyway, after reading some of the Kindle version and really loving the story, I decided to give the audiobook another try. If the voice keeps bothering me throughout the rest of the story, I’ll just go back to just reading for the 2nd and 3rd books. Great job Rachel Reid!

Poor Kip

Why on earth did you go so Philly?!?! So hard to get past that narration of Kip.

Good story sad narration

Struggled with the voice of Kip. Actually made the character difficult to understand.

Great Book Horrible Narrator

It was a great story !!! It has a great plot, the storyline is truly meaningful and the characters were awesome.
All around a great book

But holy cow the narration on this book is terrible!!!! it was hard to listen to him try to do a Brooklyn accent. Eventually it became bearable but just barely.

This is better read than listened to.

Hockey Romance

Kip and Scott were a complicated couple. Their pretty quick fall in love timespan contained some sweet, some salty, and lots of doubts. Overall entertaining story and narration.

Like everyone says

Narrator is BAD…like really bad. He’s gonna go on my do not listen list soon. It’s hard to believe that editors let this one slip through. I got used to it and decided to just deal with it, but my goodness he sounds like a parody.

Porn much

Ok, I love me some sex in a book, but this was just over the top, no pun intended. I like a little more substance with my porn. The substance was nice, what there was of it. Reader was great.

First gay novel

I absolutely loved it! Makes you believe in love again! Well voiced including the steamy parts. NSFW lol

Terrible narration

The story is good. I enjoyed the meet-cute, the build up to the relationship, the bit of angst. The narrator, however, nearly ruins this book. His “Brooklyn” accent is so bad that I almost gave up listening several times. I had to rewind the first time I heard him use this accent because I couldn’t tell what accent he was attempting. His female voices are also bad - very breathy and always flirty. I’d love to revisit these characters someday, but only on print.
