About this listen

Quinlan used to have dreams about Queen Fand. She watched, unable to help as the goddess of the fairies was defeated, imprisoned, and finally enslaved to the Veilman.

Now, those dreams don't just come to her at night. She's starting to believe that what she sees is real. She needs to learn the truth, and Shane Murphy might be the only one who can help her figure it out. Her boyfriend, Eli, refuses to believe, even though he sees the same things Quinlan sees. But there's so much more to it. Eli knows it's true, but he's not ready to admit it—yet.

Who is Eli Murron? Quinlan's journey will move from the human realm to the lands of Irish mythology, where the truth is always hidden behind layers of lies.

Enthralling story that feels magical !

LOVE THE IRISH ACCENT! Very authentic! The way Quinlan’s eyes are described is very iu imaginative and descriptive. The narrators voice really compliments Shannon’s style of writing and brings it to life in my mind ! Quinlan is a strong , smart and hardworking woman who is very admirable for her demeanor and intelligence
The monotone voice of Fand is makes you feel her situation of enslavement . The narration compliments the writing in a harmonious and amicable way .
I loved when Quinlan said “ happiness I would love on making it last “ . All the characters voices brought their personalities to life , it truly felt like the narrator was right there reading me a story so it felt like story time but for adults which was cool because I got a nostalgia feeling entering Quinlands adventure like I was a kid again pretending to be part of the book! Can’t wait for the next !!!
