Good enough to be enjoyable not great.

I don't take away things that narrator does a great job. Also, the story was forced in several places. however I did listen to the whole series and I think for the price it was a good deal. By the end of the book I really cared about the characters.

I absolutely loved the trilogy. The awesome adventure and love story had me wishing I was in this family. the narrator did a poor job representing the male characters and that took away from the more tense parts of the story.

best book I've listened to in months!!!

it has been years since i read a new book i liked so much i couldnt stand to miss a second of it. this was just the right amount of everything all rolled up into a great storyline. i hope to find more like it soon!

Good, but .....

I enjoyed this trilogy and saw it through until the end. I would recommend it. However, it is too long. The third volume is drawn out and Blue just becomes increasingly whiny. Granted, only a few months pass after the island,, but she just gets worse. I grew to dislike her. Too bad.

The world after WWIII and the need for a savior

The change to one United Kingdom with a king as a ruler, but division by blood types are the main characteristics of the society that you are introduced into. The Americans use those of A type blood as their slaves and those that carry the menial jobs out.
Bear and Blue have been brought up in the Way, where the A blood people are worked and held, until the purchase as a bonded servant. Blue is the answer to a prophecy, that would rid the world of a monster that was killing off the Superior classed beings. Can this mere slip of a girl be the redeemer they all needed??
Interesting story line that gradually unfolds, filling the readers knowledge in, in the midst of unraveling the story.

the story was so engaging that i listened every moment i could, and drove my family kinda nuts. I really enjoyed the characters and the story line. Great listening!

AMAZING NARRATION! Great story

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Blue. She was funny and awkward. She was great. Her character really added to the story. I Know this is a book about her and her crazy life but not completely. It's a great book about all of them.

Have you listened to any of Madeline Mrozek’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have never listen to Madeline Mrozek's performances before. I was actually disappointed that she didn't have any more titles that were appealing. SHE IS AMAZING! This book benefited from a talented person like Madeline. The book was strong and original but the narration added the cherry and sprinkles to the top of the cake.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I am not good with tag lines. However, if it was made into a movie I would watch it!

The first story was hard to complete. I got better about 3/4 of the way. STICK WITH IT... you will be rewarded with a fantastic and original story. Loved this trilogy and really sad to say good bye.
