A joy to listen to

This was a light hearted story and a joy to hear. I laughed out load a number of times.

Mcman has never let me down. These were four amazing, laugh out loud funny, sweet, romantic stories following Diz & Clarissa through their Christmases together. Christine Williams is once again a fantastic narrator for Mcman's story.

I love Ann McMann books they’re funny their heartwarming romantic can’t get enough and Christine does the best narration I love her sultry voice

Twas the night

struggled to finish! A little draw out for my taste but the narration was very good. A Christmas story but with a dull happy ending.

Classic Ann McMan

This collection is classic McMan with quick, smart, snappy dialogue back and forth. Reminds me of the old B&W movies with Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant (also with Rosalind Russell). Excellent narration by Christine Williams, especially for Clarissa.

The first story "Nevermore" The night of the company party. Diz gets wasted after Clarissa leaves the party with her boyfriend. Diz wakes up the next morning in her own bed and Clarissa in her apartment. Clarissa is in her apartment?

"A Christmas Tree Grows in Baltimore" Adventures of Diz trying to get a Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve during the worst blizzard ever.

"Blended Families" The families meet.

The final story is "'Twas the Nightmare Before Christmas" It's Christmas Eve and Diz and Clarissa's big plans are complicated when Diz's BFF, Marty is sick and she has no choice but to take care of his three kids, who want to see Santa at the mall – add dogs and a judge and it’s a typical Christmas for Diz and Clarissa

Dez and Clarissa Baltimore Adventures

For Christmas short stories with doctoral candidate and copy editor Dez is yearning for attention from Heiress Clarissa who is the daughter of her boss. Totally different backgrounds but mutual attraction leads to a growing relationship and lots of misadventures. Fun and entertaining stories. Great performance. Recommend.

Ann McMan is the best. Worst thing about reading/listening to her stories is that, inevitably, they come to an end. Characters, humor, emotion, skilled narration by Christine Williams. Never stop storytelling, Ms. McMan!

FUN LISTEN!!!

This audiobook takes place over several Christmasses. Diz and Clarissa work together and playfully flirt with each other. Their banter is so fun hear! Narrator Christine Williams outdid herself. Ok The story takes place in and around Baltimore and I happen to live 30 min from Baltimore so... extra points to Ann McMan! The story was funny from the beginning and I loved how the characters spoke like real people, with bad words and all :) I really loved all the characters and there were plenty of them. Even the dog with its sleeping/eye mask cracked me up! This audiobook was so fun to listen to. I wish the characters were all real and living only 30 min from me (I'd like to meet Diz). This review is all over the place. sorry. ha! If you want a funny, lesbian romance, narrated by someone who truly sounds like an actress, and you enjoy an occasional crab cake, please listen to this audiobook!!!

I have read this book over and over every as I call it Xmad. If you love rebellious huskys , nervous Weimaraners , children that just don’t do as you say this is your Book. Grab a drink , snuggle down in your couch and have a fun read !
