About this listen

Three means war.

Three sides vying for forever.

Cole.

My first love.

The bad boy with the dangerous smile and passionate temper draws attention like a lit fuse on dynamite. But his dark molten eyes spark only for me.

Trace.

My second chance.

Over six feet of Norse god in a tailored suit, he calculates every move and seizes my hungry breaths with an iron fist.

Me.

The free-spirited dancer, torn between two men with no resolution in sight.

I tried leaving, staying, refusing, and surrendering.

What options do I have left?

I love two men, and I do the only thing I can. I fight.

Love Pam Godwin But!

This book was isn't her best.
I feel like a little ot of what happened was unnecessary but I get it.
And Narrators voice annoyed the hell out of me at times.
Like Cole was saying he wanted her and couldn't live without her etc etc and I get it but thennthat happened in the end. UGH!
But Pam Godwin always has me enraptured with her books.
I love all of her other books and series.
I want more of Pams books!!

This one left me hoping for a spin-off

I enjoyed the 3 books very much. Not only did they keep me on the edge, they made me pull out old movies and dance all over the house! My choices would be different than Danni’s and that is why I am desperate to know what happens next. Hopefully Pam will write a spin-off and not keep me waiting too long.

Excellent Series!!

The tangled lies series will be with me forever! I’m a sucker for a good love triangle and this one is so well done. Full of angst and delicious tension! And all the spice you could ask for! Here you have Danni, a tempting dancer and performer, whose heart has been shattered. You have Cole who has torn her world upside down and Trace who loves her unconditionally and is trying to win her over from the ghost of the man before him. Without giving too many spoilers I suggest going in blind! It’s a wild ride. Literally felt like I was in a roller coaster. Book 3 is the hottest IMO. I highly recommend this story!

Man this series is so good!

I've listened to it now three times. note: This is a review of the entire 3 book series in completion, not just this book. but I loved the story, the twists and turns, ups and downs, the passions and chemistry Pam can put on a page is so impressive, the spice is always so spicy and tasteful, her books are always so mature, I'm never cringing at parts like in some erotic romances. I do wish we could've gotten some perspective from the men, I normally don't read single perspective books because I need to hear both sides of the story, but it worked ok in this series because it led to more intrigue and suspense. the men, lord help me, the way she puts them in the page, you would understand why Danni had such a hard time. seeing how her and Cole started, but you also see how Trace became so important as well. and you can feel how the men see her as well and that is without their perspective on the page.

you will FEEL this series. like in your deepest gut. it's so good! three times read good.

Well... I shouldn't be surprised by this ending and if I'm being honest I would say that it ended the way I was leaning towards. Although I will say I had hoped for some awesome way for it to all work out. I don't like love triangles for this reason, I always want everyone to win in the end. This book was pretty hot too. In the end I was happy with the turn out and love the friendship so much!

Great story

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, the narrator did a great job, but I would have loved hearing the male characters by a male narrator.

The end was so well done

I’m a hard one to please and I loved this trilogy. Book 1 I was intrigued enough to keep going, but book 2 was even better and book 3 was excellent!

Third time wasn't a charm

Book 1 was a joy, Book 2 was a chore, sadly Book 3 continued the downward spiral. I had hoped for a rebound but it was not to be.

Drugged, kidnapped, held captive, choked when she didn't fall in line with what the men she loved wanted I still couldn't muster any empathy for Danny. Her captors (tormentors?) love her because of her spirit but she falls meekly at their feet when they punish her for not trusting them after years of them lying, spying, deceiving, breaking promises and not trusting her. It was when, after all the abuse they had heaped on her, she concluded that she 'deserved' punishment for not trusting them, that I gave up. Sorry Audible, I'm returning this one.

I loved loved this series. I fell in love with them both! I was so surprised it ended the way it did. I thought it was perfectly written.
