It's not just a Hero and Heroine loving each other , it's about building each other up. Holding them close when they're falling apart, and giving each other tiny pieces of their souls . Not in Grand gestures like taking a bullet for them or abandoning their careers , but small sensitive things, like humming their favorite song, cooking a simple meal for them, holding their hands when they're down. Picnics and stolen kisses , embracing the scars and kissing the hurts.
I loved Decker who made my heart race and thighs tremble !

I mostly listened, but read along when I could. The narrators did a great job bringing this book to life. I loved the duet style narration and getting to experience my first Pam Godwin book in audiobook.

Thank you, Pam Godwin, for this amazing audio of Incentive. The voice casting was perfect. I laughed, cried, and melted in my seat. I'm not ashamed to say I devoured it! No one does dark and seductive like Godwin!

Meet Decker as he hits the end of his rope, to a place where so many people end up. To try to get his life back on track, he signs a year of his life away with Infidelity, with no idea what to expect. All he wants is to get to the other side with his money to start rebuilding his life again, but things take a turn when he comes face to face with the chase of a lifetime.

I loved Laynee and Decker. I love their story and their relationship from beginning to end. The story was steamy and filled with passion but also touched on very real-life struggles that hit me hard. I felt for these characters. I found myself cheering for them and wanting them to succeed. A must-listen for 2024!

A short story with a huge emotional impact.

Starting out I expected this book to be a erotic, spicy, and seductive but what we got was so much more. There is a huge emotional impact told in these pages.

Two people, both broken and afraid to trust someone else due to their past, coming together, building that trust back up, and finding themselves along the way.

The way in which they meet is unconventional to say the least, but it was such a unique reading experience. I'm such a fan of Pam's writing, and having read multiple books by here, she really can do it all. Her words and her stories hit so much deeper than you expect and I love that.

I listened to the audio and really enjoyed it. If you're looking for a quick read about a Hollywood star who appears to have everything, and a younger man at rock bottom with seemingly nothing to offer her, this is the book for you.

There are triggers, so if that's something you need to be mindful of, check those first.

Interesting story line!!

The story was interesting, and I was hooked immediately. I listened to this in one sitting. The narration was good and kept me wanting more. Layne’s character development and journey of healing from trauma was done so well, and Decker allowing her to heal the way she needed to was chef’s kiss!!

Duet Narration Perfection

Laynee Somerset is searching for a submissive man. What she finds instead is a man 12 years her junior who is the walking, talking, infuriatingly sexy polar opposite of everything she claims she wants.

I LOVE DECKER GABRIELLI. He’s such an over bearing, domineering åsshole & he owns that every second of every day. He’s the type of man that has you quietly shoving your feminism into a drawer as you wait for him to instruct you 💀

This is my second time reading this book but my first time listening to it & when I say THIS AUDIOBOOK SLAPPED 🥵

No means the gag isn’t tight enough

Audiobooks are really not my thing unless I’ve already read the book but when Pam Godwin asked for Arcs for this I jumped at the opportunity. I was hooked by the storyline immediately . The banter was fantastic, it had me laughing a lot. And the spice…🥵 had me blushing listening to all the dirty talk. The voice actors did an amazing job at bringing Decker, the MMC, and Laynee, the FMC to life.

Enemies to lovers is my favorite!! Decker and Laynee did not start off great but when tension finally snapped it was fantastic.
They learned what love really is and about true sacrifice. When the trust was built and they let each other in, their love was beautiful..
Alexander and Grace were fantastic. They really did a great job with all the heavy topics that we covered.
And when the spice was hitting you could feel the passion in their performance. I am a big audio girlie and will be telling all my friends to add this one to their list.
