Cute idea, then went from sci-fi to romance novel

Full disclosure, I live in Portland (the opening location of the book) so the hour I bothered to listen too was mostly curiosity.

While I was interested in the premise, it devolved so quickly into romance territory vs the sci-fi it was under to be kind of jarring. It may be a wonderful romance novel, just horribly miscatagorized.

Spoiler alert !!!

King Richard is amazaed by a 47 year old woman who looks in his eye to be less then 32 - in painful description they belabor this point . Seriously time travel is taken as a given after a quick trip to the quantum physics dustbin, but the real amazing thing is the elasticity of the heroine's skin.

This is why when society comes to an end, the last sound heard will be someone trying to retake a selfie with the comet.
