So much push and pull

I love a good slow-burn story, and Jenna Scott delivered. Camilla works as a nanny to Hunter's little brother. Though they see each other every day, they are enemies from the start. Camilla is responsible, intelligent, and has her sights on Stanford. Getting away from town is essential for her to move on from a past that haunts her. Hunter is your typical bored rich kid who numbs the pain of his childhood by sleeping around and partying as often as he can. Though they hate one another, things begin to change one night when Camilla stands up to Hunter, and he suddenly sees more in her than he thought possible. There is a lot of push and pull. They are both insecure, but once they open up to one another, they become closer, and things heat up between them.

I enjoyed this story, but I knew that book one would kill me since it was a trilogy, and it nearly did. Oh, Hunter, what were you thinking! Now on to book 2.

Andi is excellent as Camilla, capturing all the emotions and changes Camilla goes through. Teddy is fantastic though his parts are smaller; Andi could have performed the book independently, but having a male narrator perform Hunter's POV added more to the story.

New to me author! Loved it.

My first listen by Jenna Scott. This book is an enemies to lover/slow burn story. Took a while for Camilla & Hunter to get there but once they did, it was oh so steamy! That ending killed me though! Looking forward to book 2. Excellent narration by Andi Arndt & Teddy Hamilton.

Suspense at the end

Hunter and Camilla are sweet together, but I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. I couldn’t have guessed what would happen. On to the next book in series. Excellent narration and story.
