Surprisingly Good!

This was my first read from this author and the narration really brought it to life. I'm on to the 2nd book.

Cute Story

It is a wonderful emotional romance. Spice level 4 peppers. Its an easy listinging story and a good pallet cleanser book.

Loved it!

As an avid Audible Escape member and romance reader .. the plots can sometimes get to be too much BUT this one is a refreshing surprise - no extraneous drama and the characters actually TALK to each other and genuinely get over themselves in a way that is more realistic than a lot of these books. Plus although he’s rich and she’s not - there’s no drama about it . Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!!!

Awesome story!

This story is realistic. Dealing with trust issues and ex-wives or ex-boyfriends, is the the new norm. Even the way things unfolded with Jensen and Emery, the way they misunderstood situations, or needed time to think about where they would go next.

Both characters had issues and both helped each other through it all. I also like how we could follow the entire family's story. Austin and Julia, as well as Landon and Heidi, And Morgan and Patrick! I'm looking forward to the next book!

Narrators were good. This was my first experience with them and they did not disappoint me!

Good story and characters!

I enjoyed the story and narrators were great! Only downside for me was wishing female lead was stronger and made male lead fight a little harder to get her back. He screwed up many times and it was too easy to get her back. Aside from that, it kept me interested and really enjoyed narrators.

Emery was a college student who just found out her boyfriend/ teacher of 3 years was cheating on her. She drops her glasses and moves home to lick her wounds and get back on her feet. Her best friend drags her to a wedding where she runs into Jensen Wright and he doesn’t recognize her. She can’t get him off her mind or stop looking at him. Would a fling with her high school boyfriend’s brother really be a big deal.
Jensen sees Emery at his sister wedding and can’t stop watching her. He wants her bad. After hitting on her and being shot down he finds out she used to date his brother, he should stay away, but he can’t resist the pull.
I gave this book 4 Stars and 3 spice

Fantastic!!!

I can't believe this is my first K.A. Linde book! The story was amazing and I loved the narration of this one! I can't wait to listen to more!

Sexy new series!!

This is the first book I've read from this author. At first I thought this was not going to be worth it after reading the first few pages of chapter 1 but then it did get a whole lot better. This is about the fictional Wright family (3 males and 2 females) of Lubbock, Texas. I loved the description of the sexy men but the bff females sounded immature when they were together for being 27 years old. Usually by this age, your excessive partying and crude name calling for bff has subsided (1 star removed). Aside from that I enjoyed book 1, and am looking forward to the next in series. It was steamy, with some drama for Emery and Jensen. Worth my credit: yes.

Guarded Hearts

These two have their work cut out for them with their past hurts and constant misunderstandings. I enjoyed that they matured and learned to communicate as well as learning to let down their guarded hearts.
