Publisher's summary

Contains all four books in the Tale of Eaglefriend series.

Book One, A Facet for the Gem

In a land of eagle-riding knights, bloodthirsty beasts, and a ruthless prince, no border is safe for long.

Book Two, Eaglebreaker

When a deadly woman from a clan that tortures eagles into submission captures Morlen's dear companion, Roftome, he embarks on a quest more terrifying than any he has yet undertaken.

Book Three, Son of Eaglefriend

Evinn Eaglefriend's boyhood was filled with stories of the free eagles that used to roam peacefully behind his people's citadel, of Roftome the Untamable, whose fiercely sought allegiance had only been given to one man.

Book Four, The Light of Eaglefriend

"Better to reign in the dark than serve in the light."

Peace is the one thing for which the Eaglemasters never trained. Centuries of harsh conditioning made them doubt the dawn of this new era that now keeps the hordes of foes surrounding them at bay without a single drop of blood spilled.

This is a 4 book compilation

Though basicly interesting it was slow moving at times ( a lot of times) as well as I felt it was draged out, should have been completed in 3 books long. The story gets complicated at points where it is difficult to follow. Narrator does a good job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.
