Very Helpful In Time of Need
The audible The Somatic Therapy Book" I found to be a great resource for people going through loss and trying to pick up themselves to continue their life. Loss can weigh us down but with this book, you will have a companion to guide you through it. It covers feelings, physical effects, exercises, self care strategies, emotional rollercoaster, remarry and dating.

Exceptionally helpful - highly recommend!
I received this audiobook to manage the trauma of loss and this was really a game changer. The coping strategies were particularly helpful, and it provided tools that I couldn't find in other similar audiobooks, any videos online, or articles I've read through. The content is really unique and valuable. It really helped me move forward from a dark period in my life in my saddest moments.
The narration is very professional and very well done. I highly appreciate the content in the book brought forward by the author. Buying this book and allowing myself to work with the strategies was one of the best decisions I've made in my life.
I highly, highly recommend this audiobook. Easily 5 stars.

Helpful insights for a super difficult subject
Losing a spouse is unfathomably difficult. The journey that follows it is probably even worse. But there are still some things that can help folks that are traveling such an arduous path, and this audiobook lays those things out in a compassionate fashion.
I’ve leveraged somatic therapy a few times in my life and found it helpful. It can be invaluable to let go of difficult emotions, even if temporarily, and get back into our bodies and the present moment. This book expands upon such high-level strategies and gives grievers some tools they need to keep moving in their lives.
It’s hard to recommend just about anything during times of such intense grief, but I really do think this book would be something that would fall into that category of recommendation. Check it out if you can.

HELP IS NEEDED, AND IT IS THE PROCESS OF HEALING!
I lost a very close person over the holidays, and I have not taken it very well. I am learning how to cope with the sadness & anxiety I began to have after losing a loved one. I came across this listen as I looked to see if there was anything out in the wonderful book world, and Somatic Therapy helps you think about the loss in different ways! I liked the guidance & information in this guide, and it could help you on your journey to move on and remember all the good times!

Somatic healing
I discovered this book while searching for somatics in terms of the gentle physical movements which have helped me heal tremendously. Upon discovering this title, I realized I could use somatic healing to help me patch up many old emotional wounds. This book in tandem with therapy is highly recommended for healing after a tragic loss. 5/5

Did not know I needed this?
I have experience loss, one just recently in fact. This book will definitly help you get through lost. The Self Care Chapter is Gold. I have not lost a spouse. I have experience lost, and this will help. I really enjoy the parts with the questions. Those questions really help with increasing my self awareness. Book is easy to follow. I really enjoyed the Narrator as well. I recommend this book.
