Good advice but ...
I didn't appreciate the comment about purchasing a BMW or Mercedes. Driving these cars can also be because they are good and reliable as well as they look nice. As long as you can afford it, there shouldn't be an assumption that you are flaunting wealth. Especially if it isn't brand new.
