In the first book, Ben had ordered a strange object from eBay. It turned out to be the missing part from an alien spacecraft. One with an AI that needed a crew so it could pass itself off as a non-AI ship.
Having survived their first adventure in space, they now had a new, larger, and much faster ship. Returning to Earth should have been the easy part.
They also had a wedding to plan.
Unfortunately, nothing goes as planned.
They are sent to a new destination in space to meet with a new alien species, with whom the other aliens' first contact didn't go very smoothly.
Along the way, they stumble across a new artifact, something ancient and possibly more dangerous than anything they have encountered.
What do you do with a piece of technology that can upset the balance of power in the galaxy?

Less than optimal narration
There are times when the narration pauses mid sentence as if the narration comes to the end of a printed sentence, pauses, then starts the next line — instead of pausing briefly at the end of a sentence.
Some words are pronounced incorrectly. This is especially true when a word means two different things based on how it is pronounced. An example is the word “bow”.

Great story concept and narration is far above exp
This and the preceding volume are a good story with lots of fun and light peril for easy listening and a laugh. The narration sis better than some flesh and blood narrators I've listened to here. Would strongly recommend this story for anybody that might like something like Bob and Nikki or similar soft fun sci-fi.
Looking forward to another sequel!

when it gets technical...the VV let's us down but great story and so worth the listen!
Beginning to love this author!! the story is so imaginative and original most of all it is fun! the balance of action and humor is just right. now if we can only train the Virtual Voice to differentiate voices.
