give me more please

I'm loving the start. I'll be waiting for more.
Tom Taylorson did great, but R.C. Bray would be great for this Series.

Great narrator

The plot is interesting. A man, his son, and a couple of others are kidnapped and taken 800 years into a future where Earth has been inexplicably destroyed. He and his fellows are left with a stipend from the government that seems to represent a month's wages. His son is missing and presumed to be held hostage or something but the man who kidnapped all of them. Up to this point I'm following. Soon this guy, out of his element and familiar tech & with very little money, is a bounty-hunter and taking on a powerful mob. The story gets less believable by the minute.

A long the way, other elements of the story obscure the urgency to find the child. Also there is a potential spoiler character that is essentially neutralized too soon.

I don't want to be a spoiler, but the latter part of the story misses opportunities for intrigue and a doubled-cross that would have made the story interesting. There is a "red shirt" character that really should have been killed to make the final scene more real but no, like a children's book, all the good guys come out unscathed. which brings me to the end.

What an unsatisfying ending. The author obviously missed the class on killing villains. Villains have to hurt you. Victory can't come too easy and the 1st appearance of victory should be a faint. The villain needs to arise from defeat and place the hero at death's door, before ultimately being killed. I expected a more exciting final fight but no a quick and easy kill. Very anticlimatic.

Finally, the replacement curse words was cute. Definitely, made the book kid-friendly. No sex, no suggestive jokes, very clean. You don't see teen books like this anymore. I think this author has a lot of potential for wholesome sci-fi but needs to learn to be a bit more suspenseful and throw in a twist at some point.

Determination, family, honor

Gage is a vet and a dad who’s had a lot of loss. His dad, then his wife, followed by a HUGE one (no spoilers) and then his little boy. Some stories make their heroes invincible. There is a time and a place for that, but that’s not Gage. He’s somewhat broken, afraid to be vulnerable, and is still a driving locomotive of motivation to recover his son.

I think many parents sometimes imagine what they’d do if someone tried to hurt their kids. This story does a great job with this, in a wild setting, with relatable characters. Audiobooks are a different experience than simply reading the text. It feels like listening to a radio play, to me. Give it a shot, it’s a fun read, and Pg13, if you’ve got adolescent readers in your family.

Gripping, riveting story line and superb narration

Miles Rozak has done it again with another thrilling listen! I have been a fan of Rozak for some time now with this edge-of-your-seat gripping action space thrillers. Starship Found, Child Missing is a book that grabs you from the start and won’t let go. I have already read the Kindle version, but I really wanted to hear it, as well. The narration is outstanding, with narrator Tom Taylorson, who has also done Peacemaker Wars and Blackout Invasion. He really captures the different characters well, and certainly the emotions of the story line. The basic question is: What will one former marine due to get is kidnapped son back? Answer: Anything. Even if he has as resources a questionable character named Tess, who is a brilliant surgeon, and saves sone Ollie right at the outset. Even if all his assets are gone, including his go bag. Even if his aging service dog, Maggie, gets a new lease on life. Even if everything and everyone he knows are all gone. Ollie is still out there, and he will stop at nothing to get him back. This is a heart-stopping thriller of a military SF story that is brilliantly produced and written. I would seriously recommend this book to anyone. Take the walk of a desperate parent who can and will do anything to get his missing beloved son back, right up to his last breath. The fact that Earth, time, and everything are gone won’t stop him. You really don’t want to miss this one!

Boring

I gave it a fair shot but it a kind of boring and if this guy is so worried about his kid why does he keep having a discourse with aliens about time travel

Lack of character development and shaky plot.

This story could have been a lot shorter and made much more sense. .. Criminal starship Captain goes back in time to a few years before a valuable asteroid hits the earth. He then snags it from space.

The end
