With the siege taking longer than anticipated The Bruce and the Highland guard need a rock climber...Thomas Macgowen a lifetime friend to the Douglas family. Tommy is the son of the blacksmith and well beneath Elizabeth Douglas' station, but Tom is in love and nothing will stop him from getting Elizabeth to see her true feelings.

Great but needs an additional woman’s voice
Really liked the story and the narrator’s voice except I wish they would use a woman’s voice for the women’s parts. The man impersonating a woman’s voice sounds like a children’s book character and it takes you out of the story. But overall, a great story to listen to.

Best story yet!
I have listened to all of the series so far. This is the best one yet. The love story made me laugh, cry and then cry happy tears Can't wait to hear the next story.
