A man's perspective. Fantastic. This was a great listen and was really good to listen to as a new mom. Put things into perspective for me and to cut a little slack as emotions are hgh for all of us. Really good listen.

Great book for dads!

My fiancé and I are planning to have kids so this audiobook was perfect for him to listen to. It gave really good tips and strategies like handling stress of being a first time father and tools to raise your kid. My fiancé is a lot more confident now after he listened to this audiobook. Would recommend!

An excellent parenting tool

They say there is no perfect parenting book, but The Road to Fatherhood is definitely one to add to your parenting toolbox. I found much sound advice and important information within this audiobook. It had me turning inwards to explore how my own experiences will influence how I intervene with my kids and impact my children' development. Even though this is directed towards dads, I highly recommend a listen to any and all parents out there,

Getting ready for fatherhood can be tough, but this book has it all. You've given me a lot of tips that make me feel more prepared to be a good parent. Whether you're a biological father, an adoptive father, or a stepfather, this book will help prepare you for being a dad and truly caring for your child. I highly recommend this book. My first child is going to make me nervous.

I love that the emphasis is not only on technical skills involved in fatherhood, but in love, strength, and morals. This is a must have for any new dad, and moms will love it too!

Wow, this was an eye-opener for me. It's so important to teach your kids to grow up confident and kind, this well presented audiobook shows you exactly what you need to know .

I Wish I Had This Book Before I Became A Father!

Looking back now, having this book would have made me more aware of who I am and the areas of my life that need improvement. This book would have helped me during my time as a father when my kids were babies and toddlers. However, it's never too late to be the best father that I can be. This book helped me believe that.

GREAT ADVICE FOR ALL DADS!!!

My nephew and his wife are expecting their first child in June. For their baby shower, I searched for gifts for the baby, the mom and the dad. While searching for the dad/my nephew, this was an Audible suggestion that looked interesting. I had a chance to briefly look through the book before I wrapped it, and it had me chuckling. It has been about a 3 weeks since he received the book, and I am told he tries to listen part of it every night. He reports that it is a really good book: he is finding the content covers more than expected, and that the book is helpful.

There isn't another book like this

This book starts with a ton of compassion - we are simply not taught this stuff, and we need to support each other. This goes through everything you'll need to know, step-by-step, simply and effectively. It's really going to help you feel prepared. And less scared and less alone. Great narrator too.
