About this listen

I can’t save myself from the cloister, and maybe I never could. The prophet grows more dangerous by the day. His delusions are steeped in blood, and if I’m not careful, that blood will be my own. Despite the growing risk, I still continue the search for the truth, no matter if the thorny path eventually twists back to Adam, guilt in his dark eyes. I’ve seen glimpses of his soul, and I know there is more to him than the monster, but it’s so hard to reach him.

I knew when I came here I’d have to fight, I just didn’t realize the war would be waged on so many fronts.

Author's note: If you have a trigger, this audiobook will pull it. If you haven't listened to audiobook one, The Maiden, then you should do that first. The Prophet is the second audiobook in the Cloister series, and the conclusion to the series, The Church, is available now.

Review on The Prophet

Absolutely riveting! I have heard of books that involved Covens, Churches run by one individual that answered to only one leader, but until I read these last two books I had no idea this could exist in the world of which we live in today. Every individual must have have an awareness around them at all times to prevent being taken. If someone is a witness to an individual being forced against their will, contact proper authorities immediately. I embraced & could relate to the love between Adam & Adele (Emmy) and challenge you to read the full series of The Cloister Series as you will not be disappointed!

Mind Blown

Let me start by saying these books don’t contain cliffhangers... more like you just drop! This series has given all of my favorites a very violent shove into 2nd place etc! Vivid, heart stopping, jaw dropping, eye rolling, fight or flight response ready from chapter to chapter! Sooo very worth the time!

Phenomenal story with perfect narration! A must listen!!

Phenomenal listen that gets better with each book. Expect the unexpected!!! So dark.. so twisted... You root for the good and hate the evil. Riveting, you’ll devour and race to get book 3. Narration is perfection!! I highly recommend this audiobook!

dark, sick but extremely gripping... till the end

this is part 2... and if you have listened to part 1 then you have already had a walk in the park... cause that was nothing. Get ready for a LSD sick ride.

Lots of submissive training, violent abuse and sexual "training". ... that's the problem with virgins... they need a lot of training!! LOL

The story crosses all the lines... of abuse, violence, sexual to even death. Please don't bet on a happy ending...

The narration is perfect. The books are way more enjoyable with their perfect narration. The story becomes more vivid and terrifying.

I recommend you don't try to predict what's going to happen next... cause it's not! It's way worse.

I HIGHLY recommend this series because its breathtaking in a bad way! I couldn't put it down till the end. It keeps you charged and on edge at all times. So, if you are okay with that, then you MUST listen to it. ENJOY!

On the edge of my seat...

I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. I do wish Adam and Delilah were able to spend more time together but know that with the Prophet still in charge it's impossible. I want to know more about Noah and their mother.

Narration was once again amazing.

5 stars!

Adam and Delilah return right where we left off, which means no niceties or getting to know you’s. Just full swing, intense, edge of your seat, plug shoved in your butt, mystery & insanity.

And this was just the starting point. By the end, My heart was racing and my eyes were flying so fast that I had to keep stopping and going back to reread because I would miss entire lines just trying to read faster and faster. I had to get the information in my brain as quick as possible.

Then the cliffy hit and I turned the page and shouted “NO!” And flipped back and turned it again, shouting once again, “no!” Cursing The Father of Fire! Damn you! I knew it was coming but still. Noooooo!

Until The Church, Celia, where you will trick me no more!!

Muffy and Teddy were the BEST choice for this book, bringing these characters to life making the audio even better than when I read the book.
