Great book for those suffering with digestive issues
Definitely plan on re reading. Great read overall! Only downfall to this audio book is that the narrater makes several mistakes throughout. Seems like rough draft got published. Not a big deal and doesn’t take away from overall content.

Narrator is TERRIBLE
The narrator doesn't know how to narrate (or even just read) an audio book. He mispronounced many, many words throughout. He puts pauses where they shouldn't be and doesn't pause when he should. It's painful to listen to.
The audio is not edited at all, with many mistakes as well as parts of sentences duplicated.
It's frustrating that such an important topic is conveyed so poorly. It would be better to get the print book or Kindle version.
I hope the authors decide to have the book recorded again by someone who has experience.

BRUTAL!
The information is excellent but the narration makes it truly painful to listen to. None of the edits were cleaned up and there is zero flow to the narration. I could not tell when the pause meant the sentence had ended, they were going to repeat the sentence because they messed up or if they were just stopping to breathe mid-sentence. I admire Dr Josh Axe and his work but I was not impressed that I paid for this, get the paper version.

Editor forgot to remove Narrator mistakes. Some chapters are missing the point, filled with stories that don’t make sense. What is this book really about? Each chapter seems to fall off track in someway. “Clean Gut” is better.

I’m sorry I just couldn’t finish listening to this book
Take the advice of other low ratings and buy another book. It’s true, the narration lacks professionalism and because of this, I am reconsidering subscribing to Audible. Surely this book was not reviewed before approving; if it was the reviewer should be fired. It’s so frustrating to hear the narrator repeat sentences and words that he mispronounced. Furthermore, this type of book is does not qualify for an audiobook because of the pronunciations necessary for all the pro and prebiotic strains I did go to a bookstore and attempt to purchase the book so that I might follow along as it is read to me, but in looking at the book there is not even an index. What are phase 1, 2 and 3? It’s difficult to even determine what they are in an audiobook like this. instead of starting with the symptom of diagnosis and repeating over and over what is recommended for the “cure”, it would be simpler to list phases, what to do/eat and how it can improve your health
I did end up purchasing Dr. axes book, Eat Dirt, which was professionally produced with an index.
