WOW!

I purchased this book because of a sale so I wasn’t really expecting anything. However, the more I listened the more intrigued I became. But at the same time I would become so nervous while listening at certain points that I would just put it away. Now keep in mind that I sometimes feel anxious in certain situations experienced or perceived. Anyway, I would come back to the book when I was able. I finished the last 2 hours in one sitting and the ending BLEW ME AWAY!!!

I love a courtroom drama

and this one kept me guessing until the end! Highly recommend. And he audible must I write 15 words when less is all I have to say?

Great Head Fake

Loved how the author gave you all you needed to know but still surprised you with the ending

Rather implausible

The set up is just to hard to believe. The President marries the defense lawyers lover followed by the President luring away the lawyers new lover and then being charged with her murder. Courtroom scenes are good and save the day.

Jeez…kept me guessing and then had to re-guess it

Oh my gosh. I definitely don’t want to be a spoiler, so let’s just say that when I finished it, I had to rethink every bit of plot. It was crazy and great.

Good twist at end but story plodded a little

Twist at the end made it worth reading, though I expected the story to be more exciting along the way based on other reviews.

Loved the procedural parts of the story, but the final twist was the key! Fun read!

Loved the ending, poor narration

I was conflicted about this review. I think this would have been a great book read, but as an audio book it missed the mark. The reveal was fantastic, and literally the last line of the story. The narrator was so-so and the story could have been sharpened up a bit. It's OK but not great.
