Overamped performance

The author s a good storyteller, and this book is no exception. My enjoyment of this book was diminished by the narrator. Call it overacting. Most readers want a little life in the narration, but too much can get annoying. This one crossed that line.

Edge of my seat

This is one of Freeman’s best! Baldacci fans will love. Compelling characters and plot. Scot Brick, as always, gives a great performance

Non Stop Action

The Tiger was a tremendous character. As good as any thriller I've ever read. Very complex. Super tough and super caring at the same time.

Great Read Just Not My Favorite of Freeman's

A great story for sure. Full of intrigue and suspense, which Bryan Freeman is known for. However, I didn't find it as engaging as his past books. I had to restart it a couple of times at the beginning. My mind must have wandered off to the point I missed some important details because some things weren't making sense, and I wasn't tracking the characters. Don't get me wrong, it is definitely worth reading but it wasn't one of his books that I couldn't put down.

Action packed!

Action-packed and suspenseful. It's a great story about dark and awful things. The narrator does ok but not the best. It's a little hard to follow at times but if it wasn't good I wouldn't have finished it.

Strong characters, great plot

The story is action packed, and while somewhat predictable, there are still some twists that jump out at you. Loved having strong female leads in the middle of a dark Epstein/Diddy type of scenario.

I did not like the narrator at all. Overly dramatic. Not great at accents. Did not enhance the plot.

Ready for the movie!

One of the most amazing, suspenseful novels I have ever read. It brought so much joy to listen to the Audible version each day. I have read all of Mr. Freeman’s Bourne novels, but this is the first I’ve read outside of the Bourne universe. I can’t wait to read more of his novels. He is my favorite author but far. I hope they produce the movie based on this story!

Narrator makes the story!

I really enjoyed the ups and downs of this story and was quite impressed with Tiger and his buddy. I hope to see this become a series. As always, Scott brick is a great narrator. I love to listen to him. I am hoping for a book 2.

Good Story

A story about the dark & ugly underbelly of money, power & influence. It has a similar feeling to the real story of Maxwell & Epstein. It’s about fighting back. It’s about real love.

Suspenseful

A good read as always from Brian Freeman! Suspenseful and easy to get invested in the characters.
