A very good story

I enjoyed this read. First time reading this author, will do again. Giddion is my new book boyfriend, the narrator did an excellent job on the voices for each character. My problem was too much unnecessary description and verbiage, if most of that were removed instead of 21chapters there would probably be15.

Interesting and well narrated

So many in this genre are annoying but they’re just easy escapism. Pleasantly surprised, Prudence character was assertive in her protective love for her sisters, naive in many ways and I liked that she wasn’t the stunning Diamond but Gideon the jaded Rake had his undaunted perspective and admiration for the unique heroine. Excellent narrator. Been annoyed by so many narrators of this particular genre, but not this one.

I laughed and laughed

The beginning was terribly sad and horrible- topic of abuse and manipulative “love”. After the initial shock… I almost stopped listening, I smiled and laughed out loud multiple times. Sitting in a doctor’s waiting room, I received several strange looks at my continuous smile and occasional giggle. Worth a listen!

Very nice

Good narration and story line. Can’t wait to start the next book in the series.

She used the word “nincompoop”

And I was hooked. It’s a great read and one I had a difficult time taking a break from.

great story

It always amazes me when I read some reviews and then listen to the story. I wonder if audible mixed them up some how because they don't match. The narration was perfect. The story was funny, tender, heartbreaking, joyful, full of love and triumph. Very little sex till the end. I love a good sex scene, but you didn't need it to carry this story. Do yourselves a favor. Read reviews with a grain of salt. if the summary sounds good to you, go for it. Don't cheat yourself out of a good listening experience because of someone else's idea of what's appealing or not. This was wonderful to me. The main female character was strong, the male principal was every woman's dream, or should be. Looking forward to Hope's story.

This novel was a surprising delight. Good character development and interplay. I wish there were more like this one!

This is delightful in many ways. An entertaining story with characters you are emotionally attached to. A little surprise action at the end. A true treat to listen to.

Such a Good Book

My heart was in my chest throughout the story. I was thoroughly invested in the character development and their love for each other was believable. The author took no short cuts in creating a well-rounded tale. Last, but certainly not least, I also enjoyed the narration a great deal.
