Intriguing, unpredictable plot which keeps you guessing.
Great banter, intelligence and humour. Sexy, passionate and yet still within the realm of believability for the period. A storyline which keeps revealing itself along the way. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well read.

Entertaining
I did enjoy the story, though it was slow. Some things got on my nerves like the author repeating words like "slowly, slowly" and "very, very" etc. It was overall very good.

Good Story TERRIBLE Narrator
Truly the narrator has done 400 books with that fake, screeching voice. The only reason I finished was because of the mystery. At that it took me 3 weeks before I could stomach her voice. I could only speak air about an hour a day. My time is too precious to waste on such a narration. Truly there are great narrators but she is not one. Will not be buying the rest of the series.

so happy I came across this author and will be adding her to my list of favorites! this story had it all, romance, intrigue, awesome characters, HUMOR (YAY) very nice SPICE level and adventure. everything I look for and crave! highly recommend it!

One of the best romance authors I’ve read for so many reasons: characters, plot, world building and descriptions. The reader is perfect, capturing the subtleties of emotion/humor and harmonic writing style.
