It exceeded my expectations!!

This book was a pleasant surprise for me pretty early in...I really didnt expect this to be very good, but I was hooked after the first couple chapters. The authors choice to have the MC's tell the story to the reader (4th wall breaks and all), topped off with the amazing narration make this an easy book to get lost in.

Unexpectedly enjoyed it.

Wasn’t sure what I would think of this story…. It was actually entertaining. Worth a listen

Always two side to a Story

Starts out super hot, and then DunDun Dahhhh....mystery and discretion of the highest level, and betrayal. And you fall for her and her beautiful red locks. And then do hate that one or feel sorry for her. Then are there really bosses like that? But either way this is a must listen to by a beautiful narration by A. Shae to make you swoon.

Didn't expect it!

A very interesting read. Kept me interested. A serious twist to the store, mellow and exciting.

The dynamics of these potential partners was less predictable than your average romance novel. Even the characters you think you have figured out surprise you at times. The passion per Billings style is always extra spicy!

My new favorite!

First of all the narration is absolutely fantastic. The book had me hooked from the first paragraph to the last sentence! Do yourself a favor and listen!

I was not expecting this book to be this amazing! Allie Shane’s voice is so seductive and I absolutely love how she kept talking to us (listeners) as if we were a part of the story! This is the first book that I’ve ever heard that’s done this! It was so much fun to listen to! I’m definitely going to look up more titles by this author!!

Refreshing

It’s rare I come across a book with a trope that hasn’t been done to death. I loved the book; the narrator did a fantastic job of giving each character a distinct voice and the author gave us a fresh trope and her writing style is fun and engaging. I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters and was truly rooting for them. The only thing I found odd was the author trying to make it seem like no one could truly love the character because she’s a ginger with thick thighs. Never in my life have I ever heard of this. Also wasn’t a fan of the author repeatedly bringing up the MCs sliver of native blood but never showing how that sliver impacted her life or was anything other than a token to make the characters seem diverse. The ginger hair and the native blood just seemed like the authors own fets leaking into the story.

This book is fire 🔥

Wow! what a thrill, this book should be a movie..Hildred Billings does not disappoint..my personal opinion is that this is one of her best works yet.. It's also my first time listening to Allie Shae, and her sexy voice was meant for romance..🔥🔥
