Loved this book!
Persephone Black did an amazing job writing this story! It was enjoyable from the beginning to the end and I'm ready to move to the second book as soon as I'm able! I only liked one narrator unfortunately (Hadria's) so I mostly read the ebook in between listening to the audiobook when I was sleepy. Definitely give this book a try!

Excellent suspense and in5trgue

An interesting way to end book 1!!
The story is very captivating and the characters are very well developed and portrayed.
I loved the wolf's contribution to this story. And I am glad her character is grated a wider platform in another book, which I can't wait to get my hands on.
Aurora is very well acted. They are all wrong to underestimate her.. I however feel the author owed not to normalize the fact that she is really suffering from Stockholm's syndrome and her love for Hadria may not be genuine.
It's a good read and listen to though.
I'd recommend it.

Underwhelming
Honestly confused about all the positive reviews. This was the most mediocre book I’ve purchased in a while. It’s not bad, it’s just super underwhelming. The 2 MC’s never actually connect on anything on a deeper level. It always just seems to be physical attraction. The narrator who voiced Hadrea did a good job, but the narrator for Aurora wasn’t great. I couldn’t tell if it was just really poor microphone quality or she was just always kind of talking with too much spit in her mouth, but it was a little off-putting.
