Great story with an agenda
I like the story and myself being a former naval officer and operator I am drawn to military sci-fi. My issue came when I saw the pattern that this story is clearly written for a woman, it’s like a love story for a feminist who was whispering in the ear of the author. There are choices made by the characters or focus on a particular character that becomes nauseating after a while. But I guess I’m from a different age. I still think for most it is absolutely worth the credit just not for me.

Sansbury Smith does it again!
This author is the king of book series. I couldn’t stop listening and couldn’t wait to find out where the story was going next. Of course, Bronson Pinchot was amazing. He knows just how to bring a story to life.

GREAT READ!
so I'm not big on aliens, but I do really enjoy N.S.S books so I wanted to give it a try. at first it was hard for me to get behind, completely on me. but about ½ threw the first book I wanted more I couldn't put it down. the story was great the characters were great. my only complaint was the ending it left me wanting more my hope would be that Smith would some day write a book 5 I wanna know what life on the new planet is like for our heros......

Epic SF story that of war and survival
Rated R for graphic violence and death
This story was great but could have been greater due to certain inconsistencies (nerfing of an OP defense weapon mid-story without explanation), some of the leaders were not as crucial as made out to be, certain basic mistakes by characters that should have known much better, etc.
Overlooking ou if you don't catch those shortcomings, it's a still a great read with action, good character dynamics, and suspense. It kept you guessing in that anyone and everyone could get killed at any point.

Happy -yet sometimes evoking the feeling of watching the movie series 24.
I truly enjoyed this series. It was fun, exciting, thought provoking and it was just another great reminder about courage, family, love and friendship. Entertaining. Oh, right. I forgot. Every single time the narrator said, “scratch, scrape” a smile came to my face.

badass
loved it and don't agree with most the AI parts and the way he reads them are fine even if not the best.it really doesn't take from the story and it grows on you. the ending was way to short and(SPOILER ⚠️) no real explanation on how capt noble and crew get to paradise really...just assumptions but I'm nitpicking it was a great story and I thought it was awesome 👌
