A new favorite

This series had me wanting more. It is exciting but gives you small breaks and the implications of dealing with the unknown are scary and philosophically educational. What an imagination!

Nicely done

It was very nice listening to the story being told in three books. The pacing was perfect. The content was intriguing and all of the characters that were encountered were very well developed. If there are more of the series I look forward to it but the place that the third book ended was a good stopping point as well as leaving it open the possibility of additional books.

Predictable at times.

last book was ok, but too predictable at times. I will still recommend. continuing to book 4.

Good story.

A good plus story. I love the narrator and the complex plot. I’m guessing there is a book 4?

If you like Star Trek The Next Generation..

It could easily fall in that genre, it can be a spinoff, it has the same notes, exploration, interacting and negotiating with new species, human droids, moral judgements.. but with a some humor.

Crisis to crisis

Action is good, characters are varied, plot is interesting. However, over three books characters were not developed and issues are one dimensional. Action becomes unrelenting with the main character having to worst luck or poorest judgement until the crisis quite miraculously ends.

Gave it a shot and was impressed!

Found this on a sale. Figured why not? Was not disappointed. A fresh look at aliens, space adventure, space combat, and other sci fi concepts. Well written, somewhat unique, and interesting.

Pleasantly surprised

I acquired the box set because of the length and type. A crap shoot that had a pleasant outcome. Been quite burned before. Looking for more from this author.

Wonderful galactic experience

Sometimes stories seem like they could be real in the future. This was one of those. It’s a must read.
