Hearing it helps you get it

Where does The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's a good listen. The reader does a great job handling the accent with believability.

Would you be willing to try another book from Mark Twain? Why or why not?

Of course, who wouldn't.

What about Carol Eason’s performance did you like?

He sounded a bit like Earnest goes to Camp! Vern Vern! But that's who the narrater is--kind of a country southern hick.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It's a short story so, of course.

Any additional comments?

I used this in conjunction with the written version so that my student could listen and read at the same time. It helped the student overcome issues he had with the written form of the southern slang.

It says four stories but only got one

This is 1 short story, which is really good, but you only get 14 min for one credit. It says there are 4 short stories, so that is false advertising.
