Gross, Gory, Rude, Racist, I Loved It

This is an extreme story, which is why it is included in Necro Files: Two Decades of Extreme Horror. Lansdale reads it and he does a great job. This is not for the faint hearted, politically correct, or anyone with good taste. Buyer beware.

Dark Voices
I suggest you get Necro Files, instead of this, although this is not as bad as some of the other Dark Voices. These people seem to think playing irritating music adds to the story. In this case it distracts more than enhances. While Dark Voices attempted to ruin this, Landsdale's talent as a writer and as a performer overcame.

Redneck He’ll!

This is a short tale of what I’m sure. The author certainly is not very creative and uses the broadest stereotypes that only know how to use the N word & cuss. It’s 31 minutes & I made it to minute 14. What a waste of those 14 minutes.

Audiobook ruined by annoying music

I love Joe Lansdale, I love listening to him reading his stories, and I think that this is one of his best stories, but this audiobook is pretty music worthless due to the annoying music that plays during the whole audiobook.

If there was a version that fixed this problem, I would probably give it five stars.
