If you could sum up The Most Beautiful in three words, what would they be?
Therapeutic! I know this had to be very therapeutic for Mayte.
Love is Love! Sometimes we love someone more than anyone else can ever understand.
You can't put a time limit of how long someone mourns for a love lost. The person you love don't have to be dead for you to mourn the love you once shared together.
Even though Life goes on and directs you on different paths - Real Love never dies!

She was able to admit her weaknesses/strengths. She was very open and at the same honoring and respecting the memory of Prince.

WOW! Not what I expected at all. This is not some sordid tell-all from a bitter X-wife scorned by fame and infidelity. Far from it! Truthfully, I was not instantly 'hooked'. As a foundation, Mayte tells the story of her own life and upbringing, though I was hoping she would begin from the time she met Prince. But as her story progressed, it came together beautifully with the crescendo of a touching and intense love story between this young, innocent woman and the worldly Prince. I am so happy that Mayte was the narrator of her own story, she is so gentle and graceful, I felt like i KNEW her by the end of the book.....or that I want to know her. I cried SO many times during the story, actual tears streaming down my cheeks. My heart broke for her. It was tragic and beautiful and intense and graceful. If you have any interest in the life of Prince, this is a MUST read, Mayte did an excellent job of preserving his memory with grace and dignity. I went in wanting to know more about HIM, but finished with the utmost respect for HER. Bravo!

Deeply heartfelt
I am speechless. Let me tell you why....
When I began this book it seemed so much like the love story's that I read. The fairytale love that became a journey of growth in so many ways. But at the moment when it sunk in that it was not just any story but in fact the life of a woman and the love of her life, I began to understand things in myself. How I love, how I try to be the best in me for the love of my life, how to be the best Mama Bear that I can.
I am so incredibly sorry for all the heartache Mayte and Prince suffered. I am convinced that our souls search for our other half throughout lifetimes and I believe you all will be together again.
