Took A Minute To Feel It

I’ve been an avid Jaime Foxx fan since the 90s. When I listened to this book I wasn’t sure about the content. Then boom it draws you in, I have a daughter so immediately started to relate. This book allows you to take a step back and enjoy the blessings of fatherhood and embrace that children will go through similar things as us. Great book- now it’s time for your autobiography of navigating your success in acting. All the people you know and parties you’ve had. Get it going.

Pleasantly surprised

This is the first book in the genre I have downloaded. Full of personal experiences with learned lessons to help parents while being entertaining. That’s not easy to do with words but did well! Good job and thank you for sharing. Will take it all with me during my journey with my 13-year-old daughter.

Love that voice

I enjoyed every single minute of hearing Jamie Foxx read this book to me. There were times that I thought he may have stopped reading and just started talking to someone about whichever example he was giving at that moment. I could listen to his voice forever, it is just so soothing and his pitch could put me to sleep like a lullaby does a baby had I not been interested in the story, but I was very interested so I never even got sleepy. Can't wait for him to write and read his next book.

First, thank Jamie for being vulnerable enough to share intimate details of his childhood. Anyone who grew up with a absent parent or one who tries to re-enter your life after years of no contact, will relate. Celebrities are human beings with the same emotions as everyone else. Love Story To His Daughters

I loved this book. Hearing J. F. story was great but the chapters with his daughters were precious. I referred this book to my granddaughters Dad. The lessons Jaime talks about could definitely benefit young fathers with girls. ❤👨‍👧‍👧
